Ledgers

A Ledger is the most detailed level of accounting classification used to record all financial transactions under Sub Groups, Main Groups, and Primary Groups. It ensures proper financial tracking and reporting.

 

Step 1: Ledger Filters

  1. Go to Admin Panel
  2. Click Ledgers → All Ledgers and open the Ledger List page
     
  3. At the top of the page, you will see filter options:
    1. Ledger Name – Search by ledger name
    2. Ledger Number – Search by ledger code/number
    3. Primary Group – Select main category (Assets / Liabilities / Income / Expenses)
    4. Main Group – Select parent group
    5. Sub Group – Select sub category
  4. Click the Filter button
  5. The system will display filtered ledger results
  6. Click the Reset button
  7. All filters will be cleared
  8. All ledger records will be displayed by default

Step 2: Add Ledger

  1. Go to Admin Panel
  2. Click Ledgers → All Ledgers
  3. Click the Add button
  4. The Add Ledger page will open
  5. Enter the required fields:
    1. Ledger Name (enter ledger name)
    2. Ledger Number (auto/manual code)
    3. Select Group Name (Main/Sub Group selection)
    4. Status (Active / Inactive)
    5. Type (if applicable: Cash / Bank / Credit / Debit etc.)
  1. Click Save
  2. The system will redirect to the Ledger List page
  3. The ledger will be saved successfully

Step 3: Edit Ledger

  1. In the Ledger List, find the ledger you want to update
  2. Click the Action button and select Edit
  3. Update the required fields
  4. Click Update
  5. The ledger will be updated successfully

Step 4: Delete Ledger

  1. In the Ledger List, find the ledger you want to delete
  2. Click the Action button and select Delete
  3. A confirmation popup will appear → Click Yes
  4. The ledger will be deleted successfully
